Rebecca, Kincumber
Unfortunately, we discovered we had bedbugs just as NSW went into lockdown because of COVID so we were trapped in our house with these horrid critters.
I did quite a bit of reading on the internet and was feeling pretty hopeless – pest control was going to be expensive and not guaranteed to work. Then, by sheer good luck, I came across the Bed Bug Barrier. I was skeptical but there were so many good reviews and for about $100 it seemed like a fairly small risk, given that we were being bitten every second night.
We did not move out of our bedroom so we contained the bugs to our room. Our daughter wasn’t being bitten in her room, so we assumed they hadn’t spread too far.
Australia Post was very slow to deliver at the beginning of lockdown (Melbourne to Sydney) but we understood they were dealing with a lot and so just waited patiently.
Due to the nature of our bed, the cups to put the bed legs on, were not going to work so I just ordered the powder, covers, the tape, and the luggage mat (which is where the bugs had to have come from).
I vacuumed the floors thoroughly, pulled the bed out from the wall, changed all of the bed linen (including quilts and blankets. Then I put the powder on the floor in a line around our bed, kind of like a moat. I also put the tape on each bed leg. I also did all of this in our daughter’s room.
That was 5 weeks ago and we haven’t been bitten since. We still have the “moat” of bed bug barrier around the bed and it will stay that way for another 2 weeks just to be sure.
This product in my opinion, is AMAZING and worth every cent! Go ahead, give it a try. This is not a paid testimonial. We paid full price for our products.
Thanks Bed Bug Barrier for a great product that really works 🙂
